The Parmelia Hilton Perth Hotel is the host hotel for One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific and is located right in the centre of the city, at 14 Mill St, Perth. How do I register for the conference?
Click here to register for One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific and/or One Movement - The Independent Times.
There are three delegate registrations available. Which one is best for me?
You have the option of registering for:
o One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific.
o One Movement - The Independent Times.
o The One Movement AAA Pass.
One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific will focus on the top end of the music industry, and will cater for both leaders and emerging leaders.
One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific delegate registration also includes VIP entry to the One Movement Music Festival, entry to the official event cocktail parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings as well as breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday.
One Movement - The Independent Times will explore emerging trends within the music industry, and the shift of power towards the indie market.
One Movement - The Independent Times registration also includes VIP entry to the One Movement Music Festival and entry to the official event cocktail parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
The One Movement AAA Pass will gain you access to both conferences and all functions so you can pick and choose panel topics and discussions from either program to suit your interests and schedule.
How will I know my registration form and payment were received?
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of registering (usually received immediately). If you haven’t received a confirmation within 24 hours of registering contact us at info@onemovementfestival.com.
If I register and am unable to attend, can I transfer my pass or get a refund?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds however you can transfer your registration to another person. You need to let us know in writing of the change.
When should I arrive in Western Australia?
To make sure you are as fresh as a daisy for the opening party on Friday night we suggest you arrive by Thursday 15 October 2009.
We will be running networking activities on this day and registration will be available.

What is the criteria for showcasing acts?
One Movement For Music Perth will provide showcasing artists with exposure and access to a broad cross-section of the international music industry.
Showcasing acts should be able to demonstrate commercial merit, a readiness to expand business networks and markets and support their application with quality support materials.
What information do you need on the application?
o Details about applying act (town, number of performers, URL of act’s website, etc).
o A primary contact person. Should be someone who has regular access to email and contact with the act.
o Information on the number of shows the act played in the last 12 months.
o If applicable, the name, address, phone and email address for the act’s record representative or booking agent.
How do I apply through Sonicbids?

I am a band located outside of Australia. What do I need to know about showcasing?
You will need to explore whether you require a visa. Click here for more information on Australian Visas.
When will I find out if my band has been accepted for a showcase?
Acts who complete applications by our deadlines (July 31, 2009 for international artists, August 31, 2009 for Australian-based artists) will be notified of showcase status by September 15, 2009. Your notification will come via email to the address provided.
If we can, we will notify you sooner than the deadline. International artists have an earlier submission deadline so you can be notified in time to facilitate obtaining visas and making other travel arrangements.
How are bands chosen to showcase at the music festival?
Bands are chosen according to their export-ready merit as appraised by the One Movement team.
If my act is selected for One Movement Festival, can I schedule non-One Movement For Music Perth shows around my performance?
If accepted for a showcase, artists agree not to perform at any other public shows in Western Australia between October 16-18, 2009.
Artists acknowledge that a showcase allocation is a valuable opportunity, and agree to limit their appearances at non-One Movement Perth events to no more than one a day in order not to negatively affect attendance levels at the official showcase festival.
